AWS DEVOPS ENGINEER - CONTRACT - LEEDS Location: Central Leeds, YorkshireContract length: 6 monthsRate: competitive This is an exciting DevOps Engineer contract opportunity for a market leading client in Central Leeds. The client is generally seeking a capable candidate to deploy, automate, maintain, and manage both the on premise and cloud based product environments, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of environments. About you:Must be motivated and forward thinking.Willing to take on the challenges associated with materialising logical cloud designs into infrastructure. The business is seeking a professional able to apply their skills to promote availability, performance, scalability, and security. About the role:Build, release, and configuration management.Collaborate with Dev/QA/Release teams to achieve the CI/CD process.System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.Contribute to the configuration, installation and documentation of client solutions.Analysis and discovery of application configuration, including infrastructure and run time across client engagements.Development of detailed designs including logical deployment views during client engagements.Establish POCs to validate the client solutions. Required Tech Experience:Hands-on experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, VPC, CloudWatch) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution.Development tools (GIT, Jenkins, etc).Excellent scripting skills (e.g. Python) and automation skills.Strong experience in administering/Configuring CI tools such as Jenkins/Teamcity/NexusContainer technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm.JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, and FisheyeChef or Ansible.If you're interested in the role please apply to this advert or send your CV directly to [email protected] or call 02039286639.
