SENIOR SITE MANAGER / PROJECT MANAGER - BIRMINGHAM

Location: Birmingham - West Midlands

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 plus, company car or allowance, pension, private health, fuel

The Opportunity:

Due to several recent contract awards, my client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Site Manager looking for the next step in their career or a Project Manager seeking a fresh challenge to oversee a

New Build Education scheme in Birmingham. The value of this scheme is £14m and ideal candidate would have had experience working on schools / education or public sector projects previously at a similar value.

Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, the successful Senior Site Manager / Project manager will be ultimately responsible for delivery of the scheme whilst monitoring quality, health and safety and programme and budgets for the site. Whilst also been very systems and process driven and strong client facing.

You will directly supervise a site team consisting of direct and indirect labour, whilst maintaining effective and long-term relationships with the client and their representatives.

Essential requirements:Proven track record working as a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager for a well-known main contractorMust have managed schemes up to c£14m as project lead / number 1 Site ManagerMust have worked on Education or Public Sector schemesExcellent technical knowledge, leadership and management skills are essentialMust be commercially awareEducated to a high standard (Degree or equivalent)UK Driving licence essential

Training required:Health & Safety trained - CITB or equivalentCSCS CardFirst Aid
