Trade Finance technology, architecture and strategy is moving away from manual, ops heavy monolithic architecture to a cloud compliant, component and re-usable technology stack. You will be joining our development pod team and will be focused on delivering key applications. Software components and architecture Team will be contributing towards, creating the foundations to build and extend the wider trade finance application landscape, as well as making trade finance a flag ship implementation within Deutsche Bank's Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing source code, including descriptions in line with detailed requirements, then verifying the developed source code by reviews in addition to measuring and analysing code for quality

Integrating software components including unit and integrated software testing according to the test plan

Ensuring that all code changes, end up in configuration and deployment tools

Providing Release Deployments on non-Production Management controlled environments

Providing Level 3 support for technical components and contributing to problem and root cause analysis

Collaborating with Functional Analysts and technical Specialists to complete work

Skills & Qualifications:

Expert knowledge of Java 8, Spring, Rest APIs and Microservices

Significant prior experience with Test / Behaviour Driven Development working in an Agile / Learn environment

Ability to develop reusable and performant Java components aligned with good architectural and design patterns

Experience with Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices

An ability to quickly and effectively understand and translate application and business requirements into technical solutions whilst adhering to the agreed specification

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with product owners, business / functional analysts and business stakeholders

Bachelor's degree(or international equivalent) or equivalent work experience, a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering or an IT-related discipline would be beneficial

Experience of Full Stack development using HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJs, Webpack

Experience with Relational (Oracle) or NoSql technologies

Experience in investment banking and trade finance domains
