We're currently looking for someone to join our expanding development team based in the beautiful countryside of Wokingham, Berkshire. So if you're a Mid-weight Developer with a strong background in Web/.NET and a desire to develop innovative, bespoke technology software within the pivotal field of cognitive technology, AI and robotics, you've come to the right place!

About the role

As an experienced Mid-weight Developer, you will contribute to our expertise within AI by researching, developing and improving our applications and solutions within a commercial environment for our global clients. You'll be responsible for finding new innovative ideas and technologies (R&D) to help the business exceed client expectations and compete at the highest level. You'll get stuck in with enhancing and excelling our web applications by participating in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing.

As well as working independently, you'll work closely with our talented UK and Sri-Lanka technology team.

Skills

Ideally, you will have:

A university degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent

A minimum of two years commercial development experience and an understanding of web technologies

Solid understanding of C#, ASP.Net, Python, Object-oriented programming and relational database fundamentals

Excellent problem-solving skills

Solid understanding and knowledge of web software development practices

Understanding and experience of AI, machine learning (strong interest) and data modelling

Experience in using Microsoft SQL Database and JavaScript framework (mainly Angular)

Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with teams that have different technology-awareness levels

Organisational skills with the ability to multitask

Attention to high and low-level details

Any experience (educational or commercial) within AI, specifically around data modelling, NLP and machine learning is considered a strong bonus. You should be willing to learn new technologies as well as build on your existing knowledge.
