A new role based in Liverpool for .NET Developers! My client have been established for over 200 years! They are a world leading logistics provider, specialising in the storage and shipping of Exchange-traded metals and soft commodities around the globe. Their bespoke application is a critical operational product within the organisation, required to be available to users globally.The front end of the application is currently being re-written to take it from its current Classic ASP/ASP.NET hybrid state to a new ASP.NET MVC Web Application coded entirely in .Net Framework 4.As a Software Developer you will provide technical support, perform maintenance and Agile Development of web-based .NET/ASP Applications. You will also manage the Software development Life Cycle within the DEV and UAT environments to provide documentation for release to Production. You will perform maintenance programming and demonstrate ownership of issues, including investigating, analysing and documenting the resolution of reported application defects. While also creating, documenting and implementing unit test plans, scripts and test harnesses; along with creating and maintaining technical documentation using defined templates; and version control and Deployment of software releases.My client are looking for a Software Developer who is a team player with the ability to manage own workload, a visionary with the ability to investigate and develop new ways of working.
