Digital Technology Business Partner - 6 months - Staines

Well known corporate client is looking for a highly experienced Digital Technology Business Partner who will have the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area for creating business plans which explore the potential of technology, solution discovery, portfolio delivery, service management, risk management and relationship management.

This role will serve as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the leadership level. You will provide highly valued, strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives.

Experience/ Skills Required:

- IT delivery experience, with at least 3 years' leadership experience of agile iterative delivery, event driven journeys and UX design. Broad exposure to various design, data and technical environments across industries with large volume of customers.

Additional desirable experience:

- Nimble lean and systems thinking to drive change that enables efficiencies and delivers growth.

- User research and design thinking experience as a product owner

- Experience in large scale agile transformation

- Experience in leading edge technologies - ML and AI

- Story-telling and ability to create crisp narratives in simple English

- Strong leadership skills with the gravitas to effectively represent and direct the portfolio and explain its value/outcomes, the ability to influence a diverse stakeholder base - comfortable handling objections and negotiating a way forward. Valued by senior business sponsors and respected by peers.

- Ability to pro-actively develop positive and highly effective working relationships, influencing senior executives and directors on strategy and influencing operational management on delivery

- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to step away from the detail and combine data with external trends and market data to see the bigger picture and help shape the future

- Ability to leverage best practice learned in one process or part of the business or industry into another

- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to provide check and challenge to the business in their decision making in an effective and constructive manner

- Strong commercial acumen and effective methods of facilitating decision making to deliver business goals

- Strong communication skills with an ability to summarise complex matters and influence a range of audiences, including senior management

- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment and engage resource across the business and DTS to deliver work to tight deadlines

- Ability to assess and manage organisation wide operational risks and controls

- Commitment to developing others with a demonstrated capability of coaching and building capability

- Strong organisation skills, written and oral communication skills vital.
