Application Support Engineer / Software Support Analyst (SQL Excel). Would you like to work with a first class software development team and energy scientists on cutting edge Renewable Energy technology? As an Application Support Engineer you will learn about an industry leading, data centric software solution that reports on renewable energy production. You will provide first line support to their client base via phone and email, escalate and manage tire two support issues; work with users to create new extensions to the core product and get involved with producing training materials, assist the Product Manager in the design of new functionality. You'll also receive training and work with the development team on automated testing within an Agile TDD environment.

This role presents an excellent opportunity as an Application Support Engineer to work in an intellectually and technically challenging environment on something really worthwhile. You'll be based in beautiful offices in Hertfordshire with lots of space and a good work / life balance. Easily commutable from Hemel Hempstead, Watford, St. Albans, Kings Langley and also from London Euston.

Requirements:

*Application Support and / or Software Testing experience

*Good working knowledge of SQL and Excel

*Enthusiastic and keen to learn

*Interest in Renewable Energy

*Computer Science degree desirable but not essential
