My client is an innovative software-startup based in Frankfurt am Main. They have made it to their mission to digitize their core market and revolutionize product development. Their online platform gives their customers the opportunity to make exhaustive use of digital possibilities.The IT-department is the core of their company and is primarily responsible for the ongoing development of their software. In order to further advance the digitization of an entire industry, they are looking for support in their IT department as soon as possible. With them no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:Development and implementation of interfaces for the connection of external systemsCreating efficient and high-performance structures, code and database queries in MySQLConception and development of algorithms based on PHP and MySQL for their online comparison calculators and internal toolsVery high product responsibility and the possibility to significantly shape the IT agendaClose cooperation with their head of IT and a team of developersFurther development of the software architecture, improvement of performance and cachingEvaluation and testing of new technologies Required skills:Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable subject and ideally at least 1-2 years of professional experienceYou love programming and you're no stranger to MVC/SOA/APIGood knowledge of PHP 5.6/ 7.x and MySQLAt least initial experience in Symfony 3.4/4.x or similar frameworks (e.g. Laravel)Good knowledge of AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 and ECMA5/6You're excited for new technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, SCSS, Angular, Rabbit MQ ... You are familiar with version control systems, ideally Git or SubversionYou would like to work in a successful team and would like to develop yourself personally and professionallyYou live in Germany for at least six months and are familiar as well as happy with German business culture.
