Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC) Yeovil

£40,000 - £50,000 + Career Progression + Company car + Flexible Working + Pension + Holiday

You will have the opportunity to manage a small and diverse team of designers within an interesting and challenging role and the responsibility to manage varied design projects from £100k to £1.5 million.This role is based in Yeovil and specialise in mechanical building services and engineering contracting for large projects and a range of clients. For the right person, if relocation is required, the company are willing to assist with costs.

In this role you will be managing a small skilled design team, work on a range of mechanical design projects in the HVAC industry, oversee drafts and coordinated drawings and liaising with clients and contractors to ensure designs are carried out to a high standard. This position will allow you to make the role your own, provides the flexibility to work from both home and on site and progress technically within a company with a nurturing culture and that provides role stability and longevity.

A successful candidate will have a background in Design or be a Design Engineer, have broad knowledge of building services engineering and have technical and hands on skills and knowledge in design.

The ideal candidate will have design understanding and hold HNC or HND qualifications, have significant experience with CAD operations and design software including 'Hevacomp' and 'AutoCAD' and be keen to progress into a management role.This is a great role for a somebody with a background in Design to drive the company towards their goals of growing, develop skills and manage the design department and progress their career. The person:*Building services engineering knowledge

*Technical knowledge and understanding of Mechanical Design

*Hold a HNC or equivalent in Building Services Engineering

*Ideally worked in mechanical and electrical contracting
