QHSE ManagerChepstow£35'000-£40'000 + Pension + Company bonus + Healthcare scheme + Onsite gym + 25 day holiday plus bank holidaysExcellent opportunity for a QHSE professional to join a rapidly expanding business that will offer you full autonomy and a role where you can stamp your mark from a QHSE point of view.This company specialised in the design and manufacture of bespoke, specialised products that are supplied across the globe.They have recently received significant investment into their new purpose built facility, processes and current staff. Their goals are to double turnover with the next four years which will present opportunities for existing and new members of the company to develop and progress.In this role you will provide strong leadership with a coaching and mentoring approach ensuring the buy in of all employees to the QHSE systems. Reporting into the operations director you will take responsibility for the effective and efficient running of QHSE systems and processes, including achievement of externals accreditation requirements.The ideal candidate will have experience working within an engineering or manufacturing company and have been in a QHSE role.This is a great role for a QHSE manager to join a company where you will play a vital part in this companies growth and development.The role:*Managing day to day tasks within the Quality Assurance department, ensuring internal compliance with the Quality Management Systems and externally with all legislative requirements*Driving continuous improvement in Quality Assurance processes*Ensuring testing and auditing is carried out to an approved schedule, nonconformances are investigated, and corrective actions closed out*Approving supply chains across multiple categories*Working closely with other internal departments to ensure continuous quality improvement*Providing technical guidance when required, ensuring team members are driven, motivated and working towards quality driven results for the business*To identify and ensure the deliverables consolidate the structure required to deliver company KPI's via the Quality Operations team*To develop a continuous improvement culture to drive profitability*Motivate and engage operational teams toward, particularly during times of business change and project delivery*Support the company drive to create a working culture that prides itself on quality H&S and customer service*Deliver a service that is compliant, meets the contractual obligations and that customers have a positive service experience The person:*A minimum of 3 year's experience in a quality HSE environment.*Experience/ knowledge with lean manufacturing, six sigma, quality, health and safety & environmental certificates.*Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
