ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing tools, repositories and embedded firmware development on our embedded MCU platformsBridging the gap between hardware and cloud based software backends through diligent, creative embedded solutionsGenerating and maintaining embedded design documentation such as debug features, firmware specifications, architecture, interface specifications, sensor algorithms, self-test diagnostics, and moreDevelop engineering process, tools, and best practices as the team growsPerform power consumption analysis and optimization of our embedded systems for long battery lifetimeLead and participate in technical discussions and brainstorms with multidisciplinary teamsPlan and execute on staging and production firmware release schedulesInterfacing directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners to communicate product operation where neededSupport of products in the field and in office to ensure reliable operation and product quality Required Skills and Experience
 Expert knowledge of C and ARM architecturesBS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceAbility to read and debug hardware electronics using a schematic and layout documentationUnderstanding of deploying energy and memory efficient production firmware for battery powered MCU'sStrong knowledge of developing, debugging and deploying code on embedded targetsBackground working with debugging equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and power suppliesBasic soldering skillsDesirable Skills/Knowledge
 Background in developing production firmware incorporating wireless technologiesKnowledge of coding embedded BLE, Accelerometers and other serial sensors as well as basic A/D and D/A convertorsExposure to working with Cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP and Azure are beneficialPlease send CVs to [email protected] along with a brief overview of your current work situation and an indication of your salary expectations.
