6 month Contract - West MidlandsA client for progressives has moved form an Altera to a Xilinx design house and need someone who has strong embedded Linux experience for an embedded FPGA project. In this newly funded project they are developing software in parallel with the hardware over the next year and a half. You need to have recent generic Linux environment experience ideally with Xilinx Petalinux for FPGA. Key Required Skills Strong Embedded Linux Experience Desirable NPSV4L (Video For Linux)XilinxG StreamerPetalinux Duties;Advising on Linux architecture, filling in a lot of blanks and bringing the work of different developers bringing architecture together. Also lots of hands embedded system work will be required. To be able to operate in the embedded Linux environment able Interface down into FPGA fabric and that back up to mid driver level.
