IT Business Analyst

£45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

We are looking for a well-rounded BA who has come from a diverse background and worked on a variety of different projects to join our global client who operates within the Media & Publishing sector at their HQ in London. You will be working a varied combination of projects, therefore a good all-rounder with a diverse background who is also very strong in the core skills of Business Analysis is needed.

The ideal candidate will have worked on a broad range of projects and may come from a background of working in the Media / Publishing Industry. They will have excellent Busines Analysis techniques, including excellent experience of requirements gathering, workflows (BPMN / UML), working with third party API's, liaising with other non-IT departments, investigating data problems, test execution/management, and vendor & stakeholder management. They may also have some experience of the following skills (desirable); Project Management (PRINCE2 / PMI), SQL, ETL, Data Modelling, Finance Understanding, Biblio Software.

Key Skills / Requirements / Environment

- Business Analysis working on a broad range of projects

-Capturing Workflows (and using BPMN / UML formats)

-Third Party APIs

-Project Management / PRINCE2 Methodology

-Writing Tests / Managing Tests

-Stakeholder Management & Vendor Management

-Media / Publishing Experience Desirable

-SQL Knowledge

-ETL / Data Modelling Understanding

-Finance Understanding

-Bibliographic Systems (e.g. Biblio Software)
