Information Security Manager

Spring Technology are currently working in partnership with an exciting new Fintech company to recruit an experienced Information Security Manager to spearhead the building and delivery our client's Cyber Security strategy.

The Role

As an Information Security Manager you will be responsible for our client's Cyber Security Strategy, and on-going development of this strategy

The Responsibilities

*Analysing potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities, reporting them and reducing them.

*Understanding and management of Information Security matters across an eco-system of third party suppliers.

*Engagement and education on matters of Information and Cyber Security across the business.

*Report updates and risks on matters of Cyber and Information Security to relevant governance committees.

The Requirements

*Experience working within a 'cloud-first', primarily outsourced business environment, in which there is particular emphasis on managing information security with third-parties.

*Experience building an Information Security function or Security Operations.

*Directly worked on GDPR and ICO led initiatives as well as ISO27001 accreditations/audits.

*Conducting access control reviews and execution of on-going management.

*Designing secure development processes and procuring supporting technologies.

*Implementing and configuring virtual private network (VPN) clients.

*Implementing and configuring security information and event monitoring (SIEM) solutions and other detective tools.

*Designing security testing schedules and overseeing penetration testing and vulnerability scanning activities.

*Asset management (including IAM) and associated inventory tooling.

*Back-up testing.

*Ideally hold, (or be working to) a CISM, CISSP, CISA or CRISC qualification.
