SQA is recruiting for an Asset and Configuration Analyst. This is a new role within the new Service Performance Management function. The role sits in the Business Systems Service Delivery team who are responsible for managing the services Business Systems deliver to our internal and external SQA customers.  The implementation of a CMDB is required to allow us to design and deliver new services as well as maintain and support our existing services.

The Asset & Configuration Analyst will be responsible for working with the Service Performance Manager and Leads to define the scope, processes and create the configuration management database.  The following experience or skills are required;

ITIL Asset & Configuration Management experience

Service Management/Configuration Management tooling (Ivanti experience would be advantageous)

ITIL Version 3 accreditation

Experience configuration management in a complex environment with multiple services and a high volume of change (internal & Cloud platforms)

ITSM experience with exposure to Incident and Change Management

Experience of central Licensing management would be advantageous

Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Experience of developing and documenting standards and process

Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF level 8 or ideally of an ITIL nature (ITIL foundation 3 as a minimum).
