We are currently seeking a Junior-level Software Development Support Analyst to join our Technology team who are based in our Portsmouth office. This is a great opportunity for a Junior-skill level or Computer Graduate looking to step into a fully supportive role with genuine career prospects.

What you'll be doing:
Working as Development Support within the technology team you will be working across our SaaS products and web projects, helping find bugs/issues to improve our systems, making code changes and bug fixes, learning our development process and contributing to our development efforts. You will help influence the product's overall quality through discussions and investigations of the system and collaboration with other team members. You may also be required to create documentation and develop tools to aid you in your duties.
This is a varied role incorporating multiple aspects of the software development lifecycle. This role is intended to move someone into a junior development role over a six to twelve month period.
Main duties:
+ Testing of software against product requirements and test plans
+ Working with other developers to troubleshoot bugs and implement new features
+ Communicating issues with developers and manager
+ Investigating and responding to internal/client technical support issues
+ Carrying out various small technical tasks
+ Some software development tasks (on the job training will be provided where necessary)
About You:
+ A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject would be of benefit, but all candidates will be considered on merit and experience
+ Good problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Perform well as part of a team and in collaborative projects
+ Capable of working independently and off own initiative
+ Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies
+ Software/web development experience, professional or hobby
+ Experience of working within a team
+ Desire to learn
+ Keen interest in technology and software development
+ An interest in emerging web technologies
+ Open and honest
