The role will be responsible for delivering in a number of key areas which include:

*Liaising with business representatives, architects, and suppliers and making key technical decisions under direction from Solution Architects.

*Producing Technical Solution Designs and leading on implementation as part of a diverse range of small projects.

*Mentoring development teams ensuring design patterns and best practise is followed.

Essential knowledge

*An excellent grasp of integration concepts.

*Experience of delivering n-tier solutions.

*Experience of integrating third party supplier systems ideally within public sector/local government (ideally housing applications).

*An excellent understanding of business processes and service integration.

*Experience of development of service wrappers (C# and BizTalk).

*A good understanding of service abstraction.

*A working knowledge application lifecycle management and build automation for Integration projects using Team Foundation Server and the BizTalk Deployment Framework.

*Experience of leading on the development of complex integration solutions.

Technical knowledge

*BizTalk 2016 Feature Pack 3

*Business Rules Engine

*BizTalk Deployment Framework

*Unit Testing, SOAP UI, Postman

*Team Foundation Server 2017 on premise

*Visual Studio (2017)

*C#, WCF, .Net Framework

*JSON, XML, XSLT, WSDL, XML Schema

*SOAP/REST

Additional knowledge of the following is desirable

BizTalk 360, SharePoint 2013

Exposure to Azure in particular Azure Service Bus and API Management would be beneficial.
