Summary:
Looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join a growing international technology services business in the role of Client Liaison Executive. The position is an extension to an already established activity within the business, ideal for someone who is looking for a career in account management, sales, marketing or customer relationship management. The team is part of the Marketing department, working closely with the UK and International sales teams to help drive business generation from new and existing customers across the breadth of the portfolio. Experience in a commercial organization is desirable but not essential.
About the Role
As the Client Liaison Executive you will be expected to build relations with existing customers and nurture new prospects with the ultimate aim being to protect and grow the business in both areas. Many of the new business prospects will come as a result of leads generated by the various marketing activities, which you will be expected to follow-up in a timely manner and manage until they are sales ready.
The role is office based and will largely entail you using a variety of sources to generate and follow-up commercial opportunities using the telephone and other communication mediums. It will also involve interacting with different teams and individuals across the business.
Training on our proposition, the technology and the market will be provided and developed over time, but the successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and bring drive, enthusiasm and a desire to succeed to the position. Experience in IT or business communications is an advantage but not essential, but an interest and understanding of modern communications technology (eg. Skype like software) and IT would be useful.

Summary of responsibilities:
Building relations with existing customers
Regular contact to keep them informed and aware of offers and new services
Gather and enhance our knowledge and customer feedbac
Generate new business opportunities
Following up on new leads and enquiries
Nurturing and qualifying marketing generated leads
Generate new business opportunities
Interaction with field sales team and other areas of the business to progress opportunities and enquiries
Proactively support of marketing campaigns and initiatives
Data and knowledge management
Developing and nurturing contacts within the marketing database
Cleaning, enhancing and validating the marketing data
Possibly working with Microsoft contacts on joint initiatives
Skills and experience required
Experience in IT/Technology not essential but an advantage
A passion for or understanding of technology/IT industry desirable
‘Can do' attitude and willing to learn
Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
Able to work to targets
Desire to build a career in Sales or Marketing
Self-starter and drive to succeed
Capable of working as part of a team
