Mechanical Process Design Engineer£40,000 - £65,000 per annum6 Months (Fixed Term Contract)Monday - Friday: 09:00am - 17:00pm - 40 hoursAre you Process Engineer with Design experience, looking for an immediately available initial 6 month fixed term contract within a dynamic and expanding company who operate within the Oil & Gas industry?My client specialise in downhole wireless solutions for the Oil & Gas industry and due to progressive expansion, they are in need of a Mechanical Process Design Engineer to be the sole expert in a small Technology Research and Development group based in Dorset, developing a manufacturing cell which has high and medium volume requirements.As yet, this manufacturing cell does not exist, so the role would also include consideration and implementation of an efficient process flow, including identification of required floor areas, plant, services and production processes.This role would suit someone from a design engineer background with implementation of process flow experience, who is immediately available and looking for an initial 6 month, fixed term contract for an Oil & Gas world leader.The Role:Design and Development of systems required to handle/manipulate small components in high volume.Conceptual thinking and Implementation of efficient Process Flow Schemes.Creation of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams and mechanical installation diagramsThe Person:Willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months with a possible extension.Background within Oil & Gas highly advantageous.Qualified to HND level or above advantageous.
