Finance Manager - LONDON - £300 - £350 - 4 Months Finance Manager - LONDON - £300 - £350 - 4 Months The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 4 months contract. Pay rate is between £300 - £350 per day. The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product. Key accountabilities of the role include:Planning & Forecasting3 year plan, budget and quarterly forecasts: Prepare the budgets and forecasts for both International central cost (£40m) and capex (£20m). Produce necessary slides for costs and capex with insightful commentary, relevant for Board level Monthly outturn: Own the monthly risks and opportunities for central costs and capex, providing foresight into potential savings and overspends in the month, through regular dialogue with the business Targets: Management of central head office international costs and total international capex and alignment to plan/forecast, through challenging central cost and capex owners across London and owned markets on delivery of their targets, and identify and support initiatives which improve cost management and profit Month End Month End Results; Ensure accurate reporting with relevant and insightful commentary to agreed timescales to Group Finance, International Finance and International Leadership Team (ILT) working together with the local country finance directors, central international cost owners, BSC and the wider Finance Group Payroll: Review the payroll for International in advance of month end to complete accruals and journals as necessary, working alongside the HR business partner for International Capex Reporting: Monthly calls with owned markets (India, Ireland, Czech and Greece) to understand drivers of variances in Capex spend in the month, to compile insightful commentary for the ILT and Group Finance.
