Job Title: Welder / FabricatorLocation: Rotherham, YorkshireSalary: £12.77 - £13.75 per hour including shift allowanceJob Type: Permanent, Full timeHours of Work: Shift rotation of 6am-2pm Monday - Friday, 8pm - 6am Monday - Wednesday, and 8:30pm - 6am ThursdayEstablished for over 35 years and now one of the North West's leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, the Company is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Welder, to join their team in Rotherham.This is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team.Key Responsibilities:To review engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/weldedPerform welding/plating activitiesEnsure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and outputEnsure production timings are met/exceededFollow company rules and adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standardsWork as part of a team to produce orders on time and within customer expectation/quality requirementsCarry out and record daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and safety checksEnsure correct marking up of component partsKnowledge, Skills and Experience: Welding & Fabrication experience and qualifications, must be coded to BS EN ISO9606-1 fillet and butt weld standardExperienced in MIG and TIG welding with the ability to read engineering drawingsAbility to work effectively and use own initiativeGood communicator at all levelsKnowledge of Health & Safety LegislationBenefits:25 days holiday plus bank holidayFree car parkingCycle to work schemeCompany Pension SchemeEmployee Benefit Loan SchemePlease note that due to the nature of the role, no sponsorship or relocation packages will be available for this position so all candidates must be eligible to both live and work in the UK to be considered.Please click the APPLY button to send your CV and Covering Letter for this role.Candidates with experience of; Welder, Skilled Welder, Welding Technician, Plater, Plating Engineer, Welding Engineer, Welding, Finishing Welder, Fabrication, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Manufacturing Welder, Manufacturing Fabricator will also be considered for the role.
