Electronic Design Engineer (Analogue/Digital)Hitchin, Hertfordshire£45'000 - £50'000 + Pension + Healthcare + Training + Technical Development + Flexi-Time + Excellent BenefitsExcellent opportunity for an experienced electronic design engineer to design brand new, cutting edge products in a company that prides themselves on developing their employees.Do you have experience of designing digital and analogue circuits? Do you have experience in EMC? (Electro Magnetic Compatibility)This company specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke instrumentation for heavily regulated industries including oil & gas and nuclear. The company invest 10% of their profits into developing staff and facilities and now require an Electronics Design Engineer to join their small design function.You will be carrying out detailed design of digital and analogue circuitry in line with project/product requirements. You will also be specifying, coding, testing and maintaining embedded C firmware and performing PCB Schematics capture. This is a key role where you will work closely with other departments and produce required documentation in line with Quality standards.The ideal person will be qualified in electronics (HND, Degree etc.) with comprehensive analogue and digital design experience. You will be familiar with low level C firmware, EMC and LVD testing and will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
The Role:*Electronics design of specialist instrumentation products
*Analogue/Digital circuit design
*Specifying, coding, testing and maintaining embedded C firmware
*Liaising with other departments and preparing documentation
*Assisting with the development of product proposals and test equipment
The Person:*Experience of Analogue and Digital Circuit Design
*Low level C Firmware experience
*Experience of EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility)
*Qualified in Electronics Engineering
*A strong communicator both written and verbally
