We are currently looking for a DBA Datastax Cassandra (DSE) for our client from the Telecommunication industry Start: ASAPDuration: 3 months (extension possible)Location: Ratingen or MilanLanguage: English / German or Italian / English (Preferred combination) Daily Tasks:- Support in the implementation of the new solution (Datastax Cassandra inside Docker containers managed by Mesosphere DC / OS orchestrator)- Act as expert consultant SPOC for DSE integration, configuration, design and implementation decisions topics as well as driving /running the realization- Development of Role and User concepts in line with UAM and SOX requirements- Design of alarming concept- Design of monitoring concept- Design of remote access concept- Creation of documentation- Configuration of DSE platforms and standards to achieve high stability leading to 99,99% service uptime- Remedy Incident / Problem / Change Management ticket work and closure regarding Datastax Cassandra 8*5 operations support Technical requirements / experience:- Experience as Datastax Cassandra (DSE) DBA- Strong understanding of core technology:- DSE vs -1.0.16-5.0.2 or higher (Datastax DSE / Cassandra running in a DCOS framework)- Basic understanding of the following components that the system is based on:- RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.2 (Platform)- Enterprise DC / OS v1.8.6 (Mesosphere)- Docker 1.9+- Strong communication Skills- Strong stakeholder management experienceIf this interests youSpoorthy Suneel(linkedin)Spoorthy.suneelatmbade.com+4921158658000Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
