QA Automation EngineerOur global client urgently requires an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join their team based in Oxford, on a contract basis, initially for 6 months with a view to extend.QA Automation Engineer - Key Skills: '€¢Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes'€¢Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.  '€¢Experience carrying out, driving, owning Automation, and building frameworks'€¢Experience in setting, running test in Azure hosted agents and Azure DevOps'€¢Desirable knowledge on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deploying testing agents and images (Azure, GCP, GKE, Gradle)'€¢Desirable experience working with different tools, frameworks and development languages (BDD, Specflow, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber)'€¢Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.'€¢Previous experience in full lifecycle development, working alongside development, testing, QA and DevOps team.'€¢Excellent communication skills are vital with the ability to build consensus across multiple teams and working with teams located in different geographic locations. QA Automation Engineer - Responsibilities:

'€¢Build and maintain Software Test Automation Frameworks including driving processes and improving and simplifying quality assurance processes.'€¢Design and automate test cases to validate large-scale, complex software systems.'€¢Develop internal supporting test tools to aid development and testing.'€¢Conduct regular regression tests.'€¢Design test specs and create test strategy for new and existing features.'€¢Work with other engineers to increase manual, automated test coverage.'€¢Create manual and automated test cases to test stand-alone apps and Web Services.'€¢Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test artifacts for manual and automation.'€¢Integrate automation framework with CI/CD process.'€¢Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications'€¢Participate in the design discussions with developers to ensure features are designed and implemented meeting testability requirements.'€¢Create full end-to-end test plans for testable components.'€¢Manage project, test artefacts and execution in Azure DevOps, SharePoint and Confluence.
