.NET Developer - Houghton le Spring - £30,000 - £36,000 - .NET, C#The organisation in question are based in Houghton le Spring and they are keen to recruit experienced Software Developers. The roles are 'full stack' and they are keen to speak to applicants with a background in Microsoft .NET technologies. You'll be working on cutting edge projects, primarily enterprise in scale and focused around emerging markets such as Big Data, Cloud and AI. As a Software Developer, you'll be expected to work across the full Software Development Lifecycle, working with both internal and external teams whilst acting as a technical escalation point for project issues. You'll also be given a voice, encouraged to research and suggest new technologies if you feel they'd be more suitable for the respective solution. As an organisation, they are heavily Agile and your role will see you adopting a range of Agile methodologies as well as modern software development processes including CI/CD, DevOps and Test Driven Development (TDD). Agile experience is specifically important so any previous experience acting as a Scrum Master would be additionally beneficial. In terms of the specific candidate requirements, rather than simply regurgitating the job description, I wanted to highlight a few key areas below:Tech Stack - a background in Microsoft (ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Core) is preferred, but any experience with wider languages/frameworks such as Python and Scala is also beneficial. They are a 'true tech company' and like to hire people who aren't just confined/limited to a single technology area.Front End Development - whilst these roles are primarily focused on the back end, experience working with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Redux, Vue, Ember) would be a huge bonus, as is any experience with basic HTML and Bootstrap. In return, you will benefit from an above market-rate salary (£30,000 - £36,000), varied benefits package and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in an Agile environment. Moreover, you will be given a tailored 'T-shaped' progression route, with opportunities to move into Project Management, Development Management and Software Architecture later on down the line.So if this sounds like something you could be interested in please contact me by the below methods;Mobile: 07720296628Office Line: 0191 338 7572Email: [email protected]LinkedIn: 'Joe Ezzard'Anything discussed will remain completely confidential and fully compliant with GDPR.
