Senior Software Developer (Ruby) to £85k

Senior Software Developer / Ruby Developer (Mobile SaaS RoR SQL Linux). Global software house that provide a suite of mobile engagement services to over 800 enterprises is seeking a skilled Senior Developer with strong Ruby skills to join their team.

As a Senior Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements on the core platform which powers billions of mobile messages monthly across channels including SMS, voice, push and social messaging apps with a focus on mobile payments and direct billing products. You'll be facing many technical challenges around building world class scalable client/server applications for mobile delivery.

Collaborative, Agile team environment with offices based close to a main line station.

Requirements:

*Strong commercial Ruby on Rails experience

*Good knowledge of databases, MySQL and / or PostgreSQL preferred

*Good knowledge of testing frameworks

*Familiar with Linux OS

*Contributor to the open source community

*Collaborative team member with strong written and verbal communication skills

*Degree educated, Computer Science preferred
