We are looking for a talented Linux Engineer to join the security division of a global organisation, working on an innovative, stand-alone cyber platform . 
Ideally someone who has a real drive to develop their skills as an engineer and is interested in continuous integration.

The Role
As part of the Security Product Engineering organisation, the Release Engineering team is responsible for creating production-ready artefacts in a consistent, repeatable and identifiable manner.

You will develop and maintain the Release Engineering processes, tools and documentation that are applied to products owned by Security Product Engineering.

You will help to build and maintain the automated test regime used as part of the release engineering workflows for a range of big data and security products. The role has a heavy focus on continuous integration and building comprehensive test suites across a variety of technologies.

What you'll be doing
Some businesses face bigger, more complex security threats than others. They're more likely to get sustained attention from the most sophisticated attackers. The more precious the data - the more urgent the need to protect it. The security products you will be working with will help to protect organisations from these threats.
Key Responsibilities
 Design, build and maintain Continuous Integration capability for all platform components.Run both manual and automation testing Scripts, compile test reports and manage test cases.Contribute to the Continuous Deployment capability for relevant platform components.Find opportunities to improve the Release Engineering framework.Assist with Operational Readiness Testing efforts by writing and executing tests.Maintain a Release Pipeline covering multiple production and test environments.Help define product and platform test plans.Implementation, execution and reporting of acceptance tests.Working with the team to identify weaknesses and improve test suites.Contribute to the improvement of the platform's unit, integration and performance tests.Automate web-based UI testing.We'll also need to see these on your CV
Essential:
 Linux systems administration.Ability to develop in Python or bash scripts for test automation.Ability to diagnose and identify root cause of system failures.Ability to work in a DevOps environment, supporting self-hosted applications. Desirable:
 Good knowledge of IP networksExposure to network security.Ability and patience to navigate large enterprise bureaucracy.Knowledge of Git workflows (branch, rebase, pull request, merge, tag etc)The Company
