This Principal Engineer vacancy is based in Edinburgh with my client who is in the consumer electronics industry and is a multinational company. This is a brand new team that they are building in Edinburgh and therefore willing to consider PhD graduates to team lead positions.

What can you expect? Primary responsibilities will be in Research & Development work around NLU, Semantics Search and be part of the engineering team working on modelling and algorithm work.

Eligible Principal Engineer will have a relevant PhD such as Information Retrieval, ML, NLP, Informatics and experience in most of the following;

1. Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning 2. A background in NLP research 3. Excellent Python programming and Tensorflow and Pytorch
