Service Desk Team Leader | Bournemouth | Up to 35,000
Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for a hands-on Team Leader to manage a 1st | 2nd Line Support team.
As Service Desk Team Leader, you will manage a team of 1st and 2nd Line Support Engineers, whilst being hands on you will manage, motivate and drive the team forwards.
Team Leader Job role:
As Service Desk Team Leader, you will be process driven, proactive, have a great attention to detail with an inquisitive mind and always be prepared to challenge conventional methods whilst encouraging innovation throughout the team. You will also be someone who actively looks to take ownership of a problem and drive that to a smooth and successful resolution.
Whilst managing and supervising the team, you will deal with escalations, act as customer lead along with incident and service request management.
Pre-requisites:
You will have experience working as a supervisor, team leader, manager within a helpdesk, service desk environment
You will be passionate in driving quality throughout your team
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing and working with SLAs & KPIs
Proven experience in developing team members
Knowledge of the ITIL Framework preferably qualified with ITIL Foundation
Demonstrable experience with improving process & procedures
Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server administration and basic configuration and troubleshooting
Windows 7/8 desktop support experience
Active Directory administration and configuration including Group Policy
You can multi-task and you have an aptitude for problem solving
Knowledge of network and router/firewall remote troubleshooting and configuration. TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
Clean driving license
