As part of this growth we are expanding our Information Security & Governance capability and as a result, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT Auditor.  

The ICT Auditor role here at YHG will see you take responsibility for planning, delivering and reporting on a wide range of ICT audits. A key member of the Security & Governance team, you will be a champion of change, identifying improvement opportunities and challenging the status quo.

You will be experienced in taking the lead and focussing efforts on YHG's highest ICT risks, providing insightful and impactful reporting to Senior ICT and Group Management stakeholders. 

As our ICT Auditor, you will liaise closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including colleagues within ICT Operations, Applications and DevOps teams, internal Governance and Risk & Assurance.

If you have a majority of following experience, we would really like to hear from you:

Planning and delivering risk-based audit assignments, end-to-end, working with a high degree of autonomy, including:

Developing a good knowledge of the audit area under review;

Identifying key risks and controls.

Designing and executing appropriate testing strategies to provide a robust opinion on the design and operating effectiveness of the controls;

Agreeing pragmatic management actions for reportable issues;

Drafting audit issues, full audit reports and other documentation to a high standard;

Using knowledge of the business and risk to ensure that the significant issues are identified and reported with authority and credibility.

Complete and document audits in line with Internal Audit Methodology and allocated timescales

Prepare reports and recommendations for ICT and Senior YHG management on the results of audits, providing recommendations on improvements;

Completing Issues Assurance work to validate the effectiveness of the actions taken by management, to address audit issues and to mitigate risk to an acceptable level.

Be the primary liaison with Internal and External Audit to support the planning and delivery of their audit work.

Assist the ICT Head of Security & Governance in audit preparation of the regular and planned internal and external scope and terms of reference

Develop, direct, plan and evaluate ICT Audit programs for YHG's ICT systems and related procedures to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standards.

Audit ICT systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, and that information produced by the system is accurate.

In return we offer our ICT Auditor a competitive salary of £32,000 - £39,750 with a benefits package that includes - 25 days holiday (22 contractual and 3 non-contractual for Christmas shutdown), plus all bank holidays (plus an option to buy further holidays), pension (matched up to 8%), Life insurance, medical benefits scheme, subsidised gym memberships, discounted shopping vouchers /Half price cinema tickets.
