Project Manager (Digital Automation)

My client, a global payment solutions provider is looking to recruit a highly experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead a high profile Digital Automation Program. The role will be based at Head Office in Canary Wharf and will require ad-hoc travel within Europe.

Responsibilities:

*Identify, manage and track the overall scope, objective and critical success factors of the programs.

*Ownership of the end-to-end plan, including the identification of critical dependencies and risks likely to impact cost, time and quality.

*On-going management and mitigation risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate and owning them through to resolution.

*Liaising between Legal, Compliance, Product Management, Development and business stakeholders to foster quality communication and solution alignment.

*Tracking and reporting project progress to stakeholders with a focus on budget, scope, resources and schedule.

*Timely escalations as necessary.

Experience, Skills and Professional Qualifications:

*Recent experience as a Project Manager managing a Digital Automation Program in a highly regulated environment.

*Previous knowledge and experience of Automation Software (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path) and implementation suppliers.

*Demonstrable experience of managing Change and IT Projects using Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.

*Experience working in a matrix organisation working with Scrum Teams, Executive Management and IT Teams without direct control of resources and with global geographical spread.

*Strong leadership and organisational skills with excellent communication, time management and project and program planning.

*Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints.

*Conflict resolution to understand various obstacles and applying negotiation skills to find optimal solutions.

*Experience working with distributed teams across different locations and timescales in a culturally diverse environment.

*Previous experience working in Finance or Payment operations is highly advantageous.

*Formal Project Management qualifications including; Prince 2 or PMP would also be desirable.
