My global financial services client is looking for an expert Application Packager, someone who has experience of packaging end to end as they will be a single member for packaging to begin with so will be required to hit the ground running. Use of virtual machines and AppSense would be a massive advantage as it is used for personalisation within the environment.

Location - London

Duration - 3 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Repackaging of application installation routines from COTS & bespoke source installation media. Generating & documenting new Application packages in response to requirements. Definition & configuration of Application. Software integration &compatibility testing in a Win 7 & Win 10 environment. Ensuring that packaged products meet set requirements & specifications. Carry out troubleshooting etc

Experience of Windows registry & file system thorough administrator level understanding of Windows 7 & Windows 10 Knowledge & practical experience of application packaging methodologies & toolsets (MSI, Virtual Machines, Appsense etc). Active directory understanding & administration (specificallyin the area of group policy management) Image creation &deployment, e.g. MDT, creation of WIM's etc
