Installation Engineer - Oracle/LinuxWe are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer (Oracle/Linux) to join a hugely successful FinTech company in London during an exciting time of expansion and growth.This role offers the opportunity for an experienced Installation Engineer (Oracle/Linux) to join the newly opened, central London office and become immediately involved in the administration, configuration and maintenance of bespoke financial web services and trademark platforms. Knowledge of Oracle databases (11g and 12c) is essential to enable you to get hands on with busy projects from the outset and provide an excellent quality of service to their range of high-profile clients. The ideal Installation Engineer (Oracle/Linux) will be a quick learner and possess the ability to work well in cross functional teams, collaborating closely on a range of innovative projects. There will be an element of travel and client site visits involved with this role so an excellent approach to customer service is essential.Key skills and experienced need for the Installation Engineer (Oracle/Linux):Excellent knowledge of Linux is essential (RedHat & CentOS beneficial).Demonstrable knowledge of Oracle 11g and 12c versions (Level 2 minimum).Strong analytical skills.Previous experience debugging databases.Installation Engineer: Linux, Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c, Administration, Installation, Configuration, Debugging Location: LondonSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + benefitsPlease apply now for more information and immediate consideration.Understanding Recruitment is acting as a recruitment agency on behalf of this vacancy.
