Linux Engineer (2nd/3rd Line Support) - Remote workingWe are seeking a customer focused Linux Engineer to join an exciting tech start up creating Artificial Intelligence for IT operations aimed at improving IT service management and automation for a number of high-profile Fortune 500 clients.

This autonomous role offers the opportunity for an experienced Linux Engineer to join the London office or work remotely, providing 2nd and 3rd line support to an external customer base. RedHat and CentOS are the predominant distributions used, together with YUM so strong knowledge around these would be ideal. The ideal Linux Engineer will be an excellent communicator with clients across a variety of industries and will possess the knowledge to provide step by step support on complex technical issues within RedHat and CentOS operating systems. You will work well on your own but also collaborate effectively with international teams.Key skills and experienced need for the Linux Engineer:Demonstrable experience in a customer support role.Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix is essential (RedHat & CentOS beneficial).Ability to script SQL/MySQL.Excellent problem-solving skills.Linux Engineer (2nd/3rd Line Support): Unix, RedHat, CentOS, Yellowdog, YUM, SQL, MySQL
