Threat Intelligence Analyst, Defence Client, Malvern, SC Cleared

Our client's Threat Intelligence team are currently a small function of 2, expanding to 3 people. The team are a pro-active part of the Secure Operations Centre that undertake opensource research to understand what potential threats the wider teams should be aware of, hunting down future threat mechanisms and exploring what information has been leaked from previous successful attacks. This intelligence is then fed through to the SOC team defensive rules can be written.

The ideal candidate will have an IT background with knowledge of computer networks, and the underlying network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) as well as a strong understanding of Cyber Security (either studies or experience). Additionally, threat related experience and an understanding of threat landscape will be required.

The successful candidate will have a technical background, with threat related experience and will be looking to specialise in a threat related role. The CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst (CRTIA) is desirable and SANS 503 GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) or similar intrusion detection/analysis qualifications are desirable.
