Full Time Software Developer Pay Justice is a specialist campaigning organisation that aims to close the gender pay gap by using technology to facilitate equal pay claims. A large part of this involves designing new technologies or integrating different solutions that will help us achieve this. Pay Justice are looking for a talented software developer to join the growing team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of products and projects, and your work will be at the forefront of the latest technology in the legal sector. The Role We welcome software engineers with experience in cloud environments who are happy to bring their experiences on board and add another dimension to our solutions. As part of our rigorous recruitment process, we'll thoroughly test your ability to code and design scalable systems with peerless precision, quality and clarity. To make you the best you can be, we would like you to have: - A never ending appetite for technology and driving best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm - Desire to work closely with a multi-disciplined team of product managers, solution/cloud architects, cloud engineers, test automation engineers & site reliability engineers - Passionate about their work and committed to helping the team improve - Passion for developing solutions that solve client problems. Initially, the role will involve refactoring our existing webforms (currently built in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jquery) into React JS. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to work on a brand new, bespoke product (also built in React and Redux). There will be back end and front-end development during this product. The Person - Essential Experience - Experience in front-end is essential. Experience in back-end technologies is desired, but not required for the role.
