Here at innocent we're going through an exciting period of growth, selling more drinks to more people in more places than ever before. Our IT systems are central to our success and to help us support this growth we're looking for an experienced SQL BI developer. 

You'll report in to our Data and Development Manager working alongside a team of developers who are at the top of their game in a fun, friendly and challenging environment. Your analytical and problem solving skills will be put to the test providing creative solutions to a wide range of data-driven requirements using SQL Server tools including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Master Data Services and Power BI. 

The systems we work with cover all aspect of the business so you'll get to work with a wide range of people from finance to supply chain giving you a great understanding of how a multi-national FMCG business works. You'll be a technical lead, advising on and developing solutions on a wide variety of projects across the business.

You'll have:

strong hands on Microsoft SQL Server and BI development experience in a business environment

experience in writing T-SQL, stored procedures, data updates and schema design

excellent analytical and problem solving skills

a solid understanding of relational database principles and how to apply them to develop data solutions

a proven self-starter who is able to find simple solutions to complex problems

excellent attention to detail

experience of developing data integration / ETL solutions using SSIS

exposure to SSAS

great communication skills (written and verbal) and collaborative working style

In addition any of these would be great:

understanding of common DBA tasks

SSRS experience

agile development practices and tools experience

database configuration management / deployment tools e.g. Redgate, SQL Server Data Tools

understanding of Master Data Management challenges / tools

experience in a similar sized business / IT function to innocent

Computer Science degree
