Project Manager Financial Services / Insurance Telford

My client based in Telford is looking to hire a Project Manager to join their organisation. Working in the Change Team this role will see you providing outstanding Project Management to deliver on a wide range of projects.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

*Being responsible for the overall direction, implementation and control of specific projects.

*Lead the planning and implementation of projects as well as develop full project plans

*Continually monitor and report of the progress of projects to the stake holders.

*Manage the project budgets, project milestones, risks and issues etc. using the Project Log

*Create high quality project data and project documentation and work with Project Management Analysts to drive continuous improvement to project methodology and working practices

*Collaborate with functional delivery areas (e.g. CSD/IT) to enable successful project delivery

*Actively promote the value and benefits of the team within the wider business

*Providing leadership and direction to more junior project managers & wider project team members

*Supporting their Programme Managers with the successful delivery of projects or programme work packages

To be successful in this role you should have significant Project Management Experience,

*Thorough understanding of business and project delivery and reporting methodologies

*An understanding of the Strategic/business plan

*Commercial awareness of the marketplace

*3 - 5 years in a project management role, ideally within the LA&P industry

*Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing change in a commercial environment

*Be Agile and Prince 2 Certified.
