Our Central Government client based in London are recruiting for a Scripting Developer (Coder) specialising in Cloud Automation.

Development of scripted web applications and other solutions for use in a major, secure, cloud-based platform using a wide range of open and proprietary technologies.

The team is embedded with the Analytical community and serves other external departments, but all users are Analysts (Statisticians, Economists, Operational Researchers and Social Researchers) or Data Scientists.

To develop scripted web applications and other solutions to assist the automation and auto-commissioning of a cloud-based platform.

Key Skills / Experience

* Evidence of at least 5 years in a coding role

* Evidence of PHP coding skills

* Evidence of an understanding of database driven web sites

* Evidence of an understanding of web site User Interface (UI) design

* Evidence of an understanding of CSS driven web sites

* Evidence of SQL coding skills including the use of stored procedures.

* Evidence of experience with use of MS SQL Server

* Evidence of experience with use of PostgreSQL server

* Evidence of Python coding skills

* Evidence of PowerShell coding skills
