My government client are currently looking for a Python Developer to join them on an initial 3 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Enrich company profiles with data from external sources

* Integrate with external sources to ensure continuous refreshed data

* Support the data cleansing process

* Support alternative presentation of interactions between companies and the Department

* Maintain and improve existing features

* Collaborate with the development community in the Client to share best practice, improve code quality and ensure a consistent user experience across products and services

Essential Skills:

* Extensive Python 3 expertise

* Extensive Django and Django Rest Framework expertise

* Good database knowledge (Postgresql)

* Good Elasticsearch knowledge

* Comfortable to write unit tests, integration tests

* Comfortable with git

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
