Contract Business Analyst - SAP Cutover - £350-450p/day

Our client is approaching the completion of a SAP transformation programme which will be rolled out to over 3,800 colleagues in June. The implementation includes support for the implementation of significant business change to all areas of the business.

The successful candidate will join the Cutover and Transition team responsible for ensuring that the business is supported through to successful implementation of SAP software. Key tools and techniques that will be required are:

-BAU Impact Analysis: Enabling the business areas to understand the impact to BAU processes that cutover activity transition will bring

-Establishing the Plan: Capturing all Cutover activities and working with the rest of the team establish the full cutover plan

-Collaboration: Close collaboration with business managers via attendance and contribution at daily stand-ups and tracking readiness and progress of discussion and action

The business analyst therefore must:

-Be positive and eager to deliver

-Be able to thrive under pressure and stand up to challenge

-Be able to build relationships quickly, at all levels of management

-Be capable of managing relationships with senior stakeholders

-Exude confidence in the ability for the programme and the business to deliver together

-Ensure that business challenges are properly understood and are reflected in the cutover plan

-Be able to understand, describe and document changing business processes

-Facilitate the relationship between the business and cutover roles, ensuring accurate and appropriate decisions are made on a day-to-day basis

-Provide unambiguous and timely communication between business and cutover participants

The ideal candidate will have broad experience, possess a growth mindset and demonstrate excellent engagement skills, including effective communication orally, visually and in written forms at all levels in the organisation.

Desirable but not essential include:

-Experience in a similar cutover role

-Experience in the implementation of SAP or another large ERP solution

-Subject matter expertise in the domains of finance, capital project delivery, utilities and/or regulated industry
