SQL DBA to work in a brilliant software product company in their offices in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. You will be talented, self-driven and customer-focused database administrator. As part of an agile team you will work closely with their development and product teams and play a key role in supporting existing and new products. This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to work in a rapidly expanding company.

SQL DBA responsibilities
* SQL Server installation, configuration and upgrades
* Release management, deployment of database schema and code changes
* Monitoring of server instances, databases, compute resources (disk space, memory, I/O and CPU)
* Compute resource forecasting and planning
* Developing, testing and tuning T-SQL stored procedures for ETL processes
* Query performance diagnosis and issue resolution (e.g. SQL Deadlocks)
* Preparing SQL scripts to validate data quality
* Maintaining appropriate layers of security access to database objects
SQL DBA skills required
* 5+ years' experience in SQL Server administration
* Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS Technologies
* Excellent knowledge of relational database architecture
* Experience and ability to contribute to database schema design
* Stored procedure development and tuning
* Operational automating using scripts
Advantageous but not essential
* SSAS, Power BI
* Automated Deployments and Continuous Integration
* Working with .NET developers and Entity Framework
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
