Software Engineer / Researcher (Python R&D Algorithm SLAM). Scale-up technology business is seeking a highly technical Software Engineer with a strong academic / research background. You will design and develop an innovative Cloud (AWS) based solution that allows the tracking of equipment and personnel for large scale organisations (e.g. the NHS). The product delivers efficiencies in time management and can make a critical difference.
As a Software Engineer your role will focus on algorithm development; you'll be responsible for making sense of all the data pulled from the main product / mobile devices using techniques such as SLAM algorithms.
You'll be based in Central Oxford, close to main line station within an R&D environment with casual dress code and a good work / life balance including flexible working.
Requirements:
*Strong Python development skills
*Familiar with SLAM algorithmic development
*Collaborative team member with good communication skills
*Excellent record of academic achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc likely to have gone on to study at MSc / PhD level
