C++ Developer - SC CLEARED

Applicants for this position must have the right to work in the UK without restriction and have a live SC clearance and be ready to start work in March 2019

The Requirements

* Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or other numerate degree;

* Strong C++ programming experience

* A-level Mathematics or equivalent;

* Strong problem solving skills;

* Experience of real-time, embedded systems

* Good attention to detail;

* Enthusiastic, pro-active approach;

* Commitment to Software Engineering good practice;

* Excellent communication in the English language, both written and verbal, with colleagues and clients.

* The right candidate will need to demonstrate excellent programming and mathematical skills.

Desirable attributes:

* Experience of the mathematics of ballistics and geometry. Ability to research and apply mathematical methods in these areas is more important than any specific prior knowledge.

* Experience of the Qt Graphics package

* Experience of MISRA C++

* Experience of Linux Operating Systems

* Experience of programming safety-related systems
