They are recruiting a number of Software Developers in Bristol for the specialist business unit. They provide software for huge, engineering companies. You will be joining a diverse and talented team that includes Software Developers, Scientists and Engineers who are hardworking and have chosen a career in Software Development.

What you will be doing:

* Developing languages such as C++, Java, C# and Python.

* Developing micro-service interfaces and REST APIs.

* Configuring Azure development environments.

* Utilising Agile development practices and DevOps tool chains.

Quite often you will have to tackle complex problems, which is well-outside the job of a standard coder. All of the team has expertise and knowledge in at least one other subject area in addition to software development.

Skills:

* Expected to have provable software skills.

* The ability to gain expertise in topics beyond the remit of a standard software developer.

* Writing code.

* Customer service skills are necessary.

* Working together in a team.

* Overcoming challenges that might not always be software related.
