Junior Full Stack PHP Developer

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000

I am partnering up with a modern and innovative business who are focused on outsourced waste management and recycling solutions. The company have an online portal which is used to deliver accessible and interactive services in a creative and flexible manner to all. The company are very passionate about being eco-friendly and making a positive impact on waste management.

The company are looking for junior full stack developers. You will be someone with functional knowledge and recognised skills in the core technologies they use. It is also important to expect and excel in challenges and be determined on becoming a key team member of their growing in-house development team.

The role is very hands on and requires good knowledge of web-based technologies. The focus is to produce good quality, working and tested code which helps the business to succeed.

Essential Skills

To be considered for this role, over a year's commercial experience is required of the following,

* PHP

* JavaScript

* SQL

Key responsibilities:

* Help maintain and improve existing PHP applications.

* Write efficient and scalable code.

* Build user-friendly interfaces which are simple to navigate.

* Debugging and fixing performance issues on existing systems.

* Keep up to date with web based technologies and design trends.

Desirable but not essential

* Linux server management

* DevOps and VueJS

* Experience with unit tests
