An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to work in a multi-disciplined agile SCRUM team to develop digital services for our customer. This role will be working alongside our customer developing a crucial part of their Digital Transformation Strategy to support Public Service Reform.

The individual will be part of a core team that is responsible for Agile Development and delivering the minimal viable requirements as determined by the Customer. The nature of the role means co-creation will be a key part of our success and will therefore there will be an initial requirement to be based on site working alongside the customer in Guernsey as one complete team. In the longer term, more remote working may be possible with travel as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Customer relationship management

* Stakeholder Management both internal and external

* Ensure delivery of Minimum Viable Requirements aligned to time, cost, quality

* Writing User Stories and EPICs

* Monitors the user feedback on the Product and Designs and configures digital platform and micro-service solutions to address defects feedback and incremental change

* Responsible for the issue backlog

* Monitors user journeys and feedback

* Identifies failed or abandoned journeys

* Perform peer reviews

* Collaborate with Chief Architect and other architects/ developers to address issue backlog

* Technical documentation

* Collaborate with the Agile Customer to assign business value to changes.

Mandatory Skills:

* A good understanding of the business criticality, data management and business operations

* Good understanding of application support operations

* Good knowledge of Agile practices, writing user stories, writing Epics

* Good understanding of software engineering practices including test driven development

* Understanding of Agile Estimating and planning

* An understanding of GDPR would be highly desirable

* Good communication skills (team, Product owner, stakeholder)

* Experience of Application Development and full solution lifecycle

* Agile Development certifications and experience; SCRUM certifications and experience

* Extensive Customer experience

* Effective Communication of risk and risk mitigation activities

* Ability to travel and work flexibly as required
