The UKHO has been providing Admiralty maritime navigation solutions for over 200 years and are recognised as the global leader in marine geospatial information. Our products save lives, contribute to global trade efficiency and support environmental protection, resource exploration, scientific research and security and defence. Working with a unique and gifted team of engineers, data scientists and business professionals you will be the bridge between the technical and non-technical, identifying solutions that balance benefits, strategic alignment, costs and risks to business and technical environments. Within a business change programme, you will manage the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the programme. You will also mentor and guide less experienced architects.
The successful candidate will offer:

Experience in leading architecture design work whilst ensuring consistency

Prior development of detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that have been used to create product specifications and architecture
Experience of applying appropriate standards, policies, patterns and frameworks to solution designs

And in return?
We will actively empower you to develop yourself and provide flexible working practices for a healthy work/life balance. You will also benefit from a brand new award winning office, with free use of our on site gym, free parking and subsidised canteen.
