Data Architect (Retail)

Market Rate (initial 6 months)

We are looking for a Data Architect for one of the world's most famous retailers based in London.

The ideal Data Architect will have experience of contributing to the selection of warehouse solutions, including Materials Handling Equipment, Warehouse Control Systems and Warehouse Management Systems

Any experience of manual and automated warehouse solutions in the fashion or department store retail sector would also be highly advantageous.

This is NOT a BI role, you must have experience of architecting with operational systems. Also, you won't be responsible for the integration architecture / design but you will need experience of working in this area to be able to communicate / work with the ICC

Skills

Experience

*Experience working with Warehouse systems and their integration with retail systems such as product and order management

*Data profiling & modelling including profiling / modelling legacy systems

*Experience with transitional data architectures

*Experience with implementing COTs products.

Technical Skills

*Familiarity with basic graphical modelling approaches, tools and model repositories;

*Ability to translate business needs into enterprise architecture requirements;

*Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems;

*Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies;
