Head of Mobile Development - £70,000 to £80,000 - Slough

My client based in Slough are looking to make a critical hire. They provide business software solutions to the engineering, service and property sectors and are looking for a new Head of Mobile Development. 

They are a global company with 50,000 users and more than industry industry knowledge that continue to build success on meeting the needs of customers in their local markets. They provide solutions that make it easier for customers to manage their business and run their operations effectively.

They focus on solutions to common business issues such as cash flow management, building profitable customer relationships, employee performance and eliminating inefficient processes, all with a desire to increase margin. The majority of their staff have been with the business for a long time so they certainly provide a great working environment and platform for career development.

Key Responsibilities Managing, mentoring and recruiting a mobile development teamManaging both local and offshore development resourceResource AllocationWorking with Scrum masters to ensure delivery of new projectsResponsible for mobile technology strategy and architectureManaging development and maintenance for current legacy applicationsProvide native solutions to complement the main ERP packageLook after the mobile platform (middleware), and develop native apps on iOS, Android and WindowsEssential Skills Experienced Development Manager or Team LeaderMan ManagementWorked with a variety of development workflowsUsed to performing regular 1-2-1s for team membersTechnical SkillsMobile Xamarin development would be beneficialC# .Net, Web API, Azure, Entity Framework, Azure DevOpsAny native development also usefulIf you're interested or know anybody that might be please contact me, Tom Dennett at Evolution and/or submit your CV.
